Lost portrait found in AWM

Recently the Australian War Memorial in Canberra discovered a portrait painted by Henk Brouwer in its collectin. It concerns a portrait of H.M. Chalmers, who served in the 8 Division Provost Company as a Lieutenant in the Australian Army from July 1940 to November 1945. In February 1942 he was taken to Changi as a prisoner of war. Tijdlijn will add his portrait to this website as soon as possible.
